Affiliate Program Terms
Last updated October 11, 2026
These terms cover the CableFi affiliate program: you share CableFi with contractors, and you earn a commission when someone you send buys it. By creating an affiliate account or accepting an invitation, you agree to them. "We" and "CableFi" mean CableFi; "you" means the affiliate.
1. Who can join
Anyone 18 or older who can receive payouts through Stripe in the United States can apply. We may review applications before an account is active, and we may decline an application for any reason. One affiliate account per person.
You can't earn commission on your own purchase or on a company you own, work for or are a member of on CableFi. Those referrals are recorded but pay nothing.
2. How you earn
You get a personal link (cablefi.io/your-handle), campaign links and, where your account allows it, discount codes. When a new customer buys a CableFi license through your link or one of your codes, you earn the flat commission shown in your portal for that purchase.
A purchase counts for you when it is the customer's first CableFi license purchase and it happens within the attribution window after their last click on your link, or when they use your code at checkout. A code beats a link, and the most recent affiliate link clicked wins. Upgrades, add-ons, supply orders and later payments don't earn commission. Customers who already had a CableFi license don't count.
Your commission rate is the one on your account when the purchase happens; a later change applies to later purchases only.
3. Hold period, refunds and clawbacks
Each commission is held for a hold period before it can be paid, so refunds can settle. Your portal shows when each commission becomes payable.
If a purchase is refunded, the matching share of its commission is reversed: all of it for a full refund, part of it for a partial refund. If the commission was already paid, the reversal is taken from your next payout. We may also void commissions that came from fraud, self-referral, or promotion that breaks these terms.
4. Payouts
We pay through Stripe. Connect a Stripe payout account from your portal; Stripe may ask you for identity and tax details, and it handles tax forms where they apply. Until your account can receive payouts, your balance waits for you.
We pay payable commissions about once a month, once your payable balance reaches the minimum payout amount shown in your portal. Smaller balances carry over. You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
5. How you may promote CableFi
Promote CableFi honestly. You may not:
- Bid on "CableFi" or any misspelling or variation of it in search ads, or use it in domain names, social handles or ad accounts.
- Send spam: unsolicited bulk email, texts or messages, or posts in places that don't allow them.
- Make misleading claims about CableFi, its prices, features, results or guarantees, or pose as CableFi or its staff.
- Use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, incentivized clicks, or any trick that credits you for a customer you didn't send.
- Change CableFi's logos or brand assets beyond what the content in your portal allows.
Tell your audience that you earn a commission. Under the FTC's endorsement guides, a clear disclosure such as "I earn a commission if you buy through my link" must sit next to your recommendation, not hidden in a profile or a footer.
6. Ending the arrangement
You can stop at any time by emailing us. We can pause or close your affiliate account at any time; if we close it for breaking these terms, unpaid commissions may be voided. Otherwise commissions you already earned are still paid once they become payable.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll email you. Continuing in the program after a change means you accept the new terms.
8. The rest
You're an independent affiliate, not an employee, agent or partner of CableFi. Our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply to your account. Questions: support@cablefi.io.
