These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CableFi ("CableFi", "we", "us"). They cover cablefi.io and our landing pages, the CableFi web and mobile apps, and related services (together, the "Service").
Accepting these Terms. By using our website, submitting a form on it (for example, a demo request or a download), creating an account, paying a deposit, buying a license or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy at cablefi.io/privacy, for yourself and for the business you represent. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can use CableFi
- The Service is built for businesses, mainly low-voltage, structured cabling and electrical contractors. You must be at least 18 and have the authority to agree to these Terms for your business.
- You're responsible for your account, for the people you invite to it, and for keeping logins secure. Tell us right away at support@cablefi.io if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
- The Service is operated from the United States and offered to businesses there. If you use it from elsewhere, you are responsible for following your local laws.
2. Website visitors and demo requests
- The information you give us in a form or when booking a demo must be accurate and your own (or your business's) to give.
- A demo, consultation, estimate of savings or download is free and creates no obligation to buy anything.
- Website content, prices and features shown on the site can change; the price you pay is the one shown when you buy.
- Don't misuse the website: no scraping, automated form submissions, attempts to break its security, or sending us information about other people without the right to do so.
3. Communications
- When you give us your phone number or email address, you give us permission to contact you at that number or address about CableFi, including by calls, text messages and email, which may be made or sent with automated technology, including AI assistants and artificial or prerecorded voices. We may also send printed mail to your business address. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
- You can stop at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, tell us on a call, or email support@cablefi.io. We honor every opt-out.
- Calls with CableFi may be recorded and transcribed.
- How we handle the information involved is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Licenses and payment
- CableFi is sold per organization as a one-time license (Starter or Professional), at the price shown on cablefi.io/pricing when you buy. A license covers the features of the plan you bought, for unlimited users, with no subscription or renewal fee.
- Starter Monthly is a subscription to the features of the Starter license for up to 10 users, billed monthly at the price shown on cablefi.io/pricing when you subscribe. It renews each month until you cancel; you can cancel at any time in Settings > Subscription, and it stays active until the end of the month you have paid for.
- A license lasts for as long as CableFi operates the Service.
- To start onboarding you pay a $500 deposit, which counts toward your license price. The rest of the license price is due after onboarding, once you're satisfied with it (see section 5).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices don't include taxes; you pay any taxes that apply.
- Customer portal accounts for your clients are free.
5. Our guarantees
Both guarantees apply to the Starter and Professional lifetime licenses.
5.1 Onboarding guarantee
- Your $500 deposit starts onboarding and counts toward your license.
- "Kickoff" is the date of your first onboarding session with us.
- If you're not fully satisfied with onboarding and you ask within 30 days of kickoff, we refund the full $500.
- The rest of the license price is due after onboarding, once you're satisfied.
5.2 12-month efficiency guarantee
- Your operation will run 20% more efficient in 12 months or your money back.
- During onboarding we record your baseline: bid time from plans to a sent proposal, hours per job and admin hours.
- If your operation isn't running at least 20% more efficiently 12 months after kickoff, we refund the license price you paid.
- This guarantee applies to shops that run their bids and jobs in CableFi during those 12 months.
- To claim it, email support@cablefi.io after the 12-month mark.
5.3 How refunds work
- Refunds go back to the original payment method.
- When we refund your license price, the license ends. You can ask us for an export of your data first (see section 7).
- Apart from the guarantees in this section, payments are non-refundable.
6. Using the Service
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to send messages your contacts haven't agreed to receive;
- copy, resell, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service, or try to get around its security or usage limits;
- upload malware, or content you don't have the right to use.
You're responsible for the emails, texts and other messages you send through CableFi, including getting consent where the law requires it and honoring opt-outs.
7. Your data
- You own the data you put into CableFi: estimates, projects, customer details, files and the rest.
- You allow us to host, process, back up and display that data to run the Service and support you.
- You can ask us for an export of your data at any time while you have access, and shortly after your access ends.
- How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy at cablefi.io/privacy.
8. AI features
CableFi includes AI features such as Auto-Bid AI, Auto-Cable AI and AI help with email. AI output can be wrong. You're responsible for checking estimates, bids, cable schedules and messages before you rely on them or send them.
9. Other services
The Service connects to other companies' services, such as payment, email, calendar, texting and advertising platforms. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we're not responsible for them.
10. Changes to the Service
We keep improving CableFi and may add, change or remove features over time.
11. Disclaimers
Except for the guarantees in section 5, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for your license.
13. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify CableFi against third-party claims arising from your data, the messages you send through the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using CableFi at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these Terms and don't fix the breach after we tell you about it. Sections 5.3, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply after access ends.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located in North Carolina.
16. Changes to these Terms
When we change these Terms we'll post the new version here with its effective date and version number, and email customers about material changes before they take effect. Earlier versions are kept on record.
