Who it's for

Built for multi-trade low-voltage shops.

Cabling, cameras, access control, Wi-Fi and AV on one system, for shops with 3 to 10 techs and an owner who still bids the work.

What contractors say about CableFi

The cable schedule alone paid for the software. It matches the way we actually label and terminate, not some generic list. Our closeout packages went from a nightmare to a one-click export.

Structured cabling

Every drop numbered, every cable tracked.

Counting drops off the E-sheets eats your nights, and the cable list is stale by the first pull.

  • Place drops on the plan; numbers follow your labeling schema
  • The cable schedule per IDF updates as techs mark cables done
  • Cable, devices and pathway land on the bill of materials

Cameras & video surveillance

Cameras placed, aimed and scheduled on the plan.

The camera count changed at the walkthrough, and nobody changed the bid.

  • Coverage cones drawn to scale, with DORI distances
  • Camera schedule: recorder channel, model and optics per camera
  • Each camera routed to its IDF and tied to its NVR

Access control

Every door priced as a full opening.

Every door is a reader, a lock, a position switch and a panel. Miss one part and the margin is gone.

  • Door schedule: reader, lock, position switch and REX per opening
  • Run length on every door, to settle Wiegand or OSDP
  • A catalog model on each device, so the opening prices itself

Wi-Fi & wireless

Every AP on the plan, with its drop.

The AP count was right. The drops to reach them never made it onto the bid.

  • Place AP drops; asset names count up as you go
  • Every drop tied to its IDF and switch

Audio-visual

Displays, speakers and control in one room, and every kind of labor buried in one line item.

  • Per drop, hourly, flat rate or T&M on each bid
  • Speakers homed to the amp, displays to the switch

Fiber & OSP

Fiber from the MDF to every closet.

Backbone footage gets scaled off the site plan, and the duct order comes up short.

  • Each run numbered from the MDF's fiber panel
  • Routed along the duct, with the footage measured
  • Duct rolls and fiber cable on the bill of materials

Fire alarm

Every fire device on the plan, by circuit.

The device count comes off the plans, and the loop and NAC assignments live in one head.

  • Smoke detectors, pulls and horn strobes placed on their loop or NAC
  • Fire device and panel load schedules from the same plan
  • Every device routed to the fire room, footage measured

Intrusion

Every zone placed, with its device and run.

Contacts, motions and glass breaks get counted, and the wire to each one gets guessed.

  • Keypad, contacts, motion, glass break and siren on the plan
  • The keypad on its bus address, every other device on its zone
  • Every run measured back to the IDF

Each patient room is a patient station, a bath station and a dome light, times the whole wing.

Building automation

Thermostats and sensors hide across the mechanical sheets, and the controls count misses some.

  • Each device on its MS/TP trunk with its BACnet MAC
  • Pathway and J-hooks counted on the bill of materials

Questions

Is CableFi built for my kind of work?

Which trades is CableFi built for?

Low-voltage and structured cabling contractors: cabling, cameras, access control, Wi-Fi, audio-visual and fiber. Fire alarm, intrusion, nurse call and building automation devices go on the same plan, numbered the same way.

What size shop is CableFi for?

Shops with a few techs up to several crews and locations. Starter Monthly fits shops doing up to $500,000 a year with up to 10 users. Starter covers one location with unlimited users; Professional adds more locations, Auto-Cable, payroll and accounting.

Do I pay per tech or per user?

No per-seat fees. Starter ($2,500) and Professional ($5,000) are paid once, with unlimited users. Starter Monthly is $200 a month for up to 10 users.

Can I price by the drop, by the hour or T&M?

Yes. Each bid has its own pricing method: per drop, drop plus hours, hourly, flat rate, time and materials, cost plus or prevailing wage. Auto-Bid drafts the estimate from your own catalog and labor rates.

Show us your trades. We'll show you how CableFi runs them.
