Estimating
Bid it from the plans.
The whole bid in one record, drafted by Atticus and checked against the local market before it goes out.

- Sell price, cost, profit and margin
- Where the cost goes
- Overhead and markup to the bid price
- Atticus checks a catalog price
- Client, site and due date on the bid
What contractors say about CableFi
We used to spend two days on a 400-drop bid. With Auto-Cable and Auto-Bid we're turning them around before the walkthrough is even over. Won three jobs last month we would've passed on.
How it works
From the plans to a won job.
The takeoff feeds the estimate, Atticus drafts it, and the won bid becomes the project.
Count and measure on the plan; the BOM imports into the estimate.
Estimate Intelligence
Know if it's worth bidding first.
Six weighted factors score the bid out of 100, and a floor price above the market's high knocks it out.
- Go at 70 and up, Caution from 50, No-go below
- Break-even, floor and target against the market band
- What would change the call, factor by factor

- Bid score out of 100
- Knock-out: floor above the market
- What would change the call
- Your floor against the market band
What it saves
Less time bidding, fewer bad bids.
The takeoff imports, past jobs calibrate the draft, and the go or no-go read comes before the week of work.
- Time savedAtticus drafts the bid; your estimator reviews instead of retyping.
- TrackingEvery draft lands as a revision with cost, profit and margin.
- CohesionThe won bid becomes the job; nothing is retyped for the crew.

Questions
What owners ask first
What does CableFi Estimating do?
It keeps the whole bid in one record: scope, materials from your catalog, labor from your rates, overhead and margin, the labor plan, RFIs, files and the PathFinder takeoff, ending in a proposal you export as PDF or Word. Atticus can draft the bid for you with Auto-Bid.
What is Estimate Intelligence?
A go or no-go read before you spend the week on a bid: a score out of 100 over six weighted factors, a verdict (Go, Caution or No-go), and your break-even, floor and target prices against the local market band. A floor price above the market's high is a knock-out.
Can I price per drop, per hour or T&M?
Yes. Per drop, per drop plus man-hours, flat rate, time and materials, cost plus, hourly or prevailing wage. Estimate Intelligence ranks which method fits the job and the client.
Can it take off from the plans? Which plan?
Yes. PathFinder takeoff, by hand or with AI, is on every plan, and its bill of materials imports into the estimate. Auto-Cable, which routes every drop home to its rack and measures the footage, is on Professional.
